Or we can work alongside your team so they can learn to implement and support Apple technology on their own. Systems Design and Architecture
These services are designed to help you integrate Apple hardware into your existing infrastructure. We can provide inventory assessment and design custom system architecture for networks focused on Apple, Microsoft, Novell, or Cisco technology. Our teams can also install and configure servers and server applications, and document, test, and verify your system. Support is available for server-based deployments, too, including workgroup clusters and file storage.
Setup Services
Do you have a roomful of Mac computers on the way? We can unpack them, recycle the packaging,
and recycle your old equipment. We’ll perform upgrades, add memory, and connect printers and other peripherals. We’ll also set up your networks, dress the cables, and rack and stack servers. We can even add whatever asset tags and imaging you need. With all that out of the way, students and faculty can hit the ground running.
Deployment Management
Apple deployment managers can guide projects of any scale, create timelines, set clear expectations for success, and work with you to implement your goals. We’ve coordinated implementation services for more local-, district-, and state-level learning environments than any other company. In fact, Apple deployment managers worked closely with the Maine Department of Education to successfully implement the first statewide 1 to 1 Learning program.
Most team members are project management professionals, certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) to meet international standards.
Custom Development
We can provide any Apple custom scripting and web services you might need for a successful implementation, whether you’re supporting a multiplatform environment or an all-Apple environment. Our software engineers offer development services for core Apple technologies like AppleScript, UNIX shell scripting, Java, WebObjects, web design, database integration, LDAP schema modifications, and more.
iTunes U Implementation
Our Directory Evaluation and Server Integration services are the fastest, most reliable ways to prepare for and implement iTunes U.
Directory Evaluation begins with a detailed, onsite assessment of your existing user directory and course enrollment system, during which we provide a technical overview of iTunes U. Then we create a fully documented plan for integrating iTunes U, including recommendations for hardware, software, and configuration.
You can execute that plan yourself, or we can follow up with Server Integration. We’ll install and configure your directory and establish web-based authentication services. We’ll also pass along skills and knowledge that will give you a head start as an iTunes U administrator.
