iPod and iTunes

There are many ways to integrate iPod and iTunes into a school curriculum. Listening to audiobooks on an iPod can help students struggling with reading comprehension “hear” the words as they read along. An iPod also enables students to practice foreign languages outside the class, on the go. And there are thousands of lectures, videos and podcasts, covering many diverse topics, available to download from iTunes U and watch or listen to on iPod.

Professional Development

Thanks to Apple Professional Development (APD), it’s never been easier for teachers to learn or sharpen existing computer skills, or for districts to benefit more from their investments in education technology.

Taught by talented educators who have successfully integrated technology in their classrooms, APD workshops help teachers master Apple hardware and software, and incorporate these skills into their teaching. APD is affiliated with the Partnership for 21st Century Skills, and its content is aligned with the ISTE National Education Technology Standards for Teachers.
