Record a voice memo:

  1. Tap record icon to start recording. You can also press the center button on the iPhone headset.
  2. Tap pause icon to pause or stop icon to stop recording. You can also press the center button on the iPhone headset to stop recording.

Share a voice memo:

  1. On the Voice Memos screen or Info screen, tap Share.
  2. Choose Email Voice Memo to open a new message in Mail with the memo attached, or choose MMS to open a new message in Messages.
