Apple Fitness+, the award-winning fitness and wellness service, is introducing brand-new workouts developed with and led by “The Body Coach” Joe Wicks and the Fitness+ trainer team to help users kick-start their fitness routine this new year.
Wicks joins the 10-minute total-body Strength workout with Fitness+ trainer Kim Ngo and 10-minute HIIT workout with Fitness+ trainer Jamie-Ray Hartshorne, which are designed to be easy for anyone to join in, no matter where they are at on their health and wellbeing journey. The workouts are inspired by Wicks’s favorite HIIT and strength moves, and will feature songs from his new playlist on Apple Music.
London-based fitness expert Wicks has spent over a decade helping others become healthier and happier. Known as the U.K.’s “PE teacher to the nation,“ he’s reached millions of people through online HIIT workouts, bestselling cookbooks, and massive in-person events. In 2022, Wicks received a high honour from the late queen of England for his extensive fitness and charity work.
“I’m a huge fan of Apple Fitness+ and its welcoming and inclusive approach to fitness and wellbeing,” said Wicks. “We had a lot fun developing these workouts together, and I’m looking forward to helping as many people as possible start, continue, or reach their fitness goals this year.”
Hartshorne and Ngo will also join Wicks for one of his weekly workouts on his YouTube channel, The Body Coach TV, dropping January 21.
